| How to measure Mylar Pieces Foundation Templates |

Hexagons, Triangles, Diamonds, & Squares can be measured along any side; all sides are the same length. | ||
|
StarPoints are measured along one of the short sides. The long sides are twice the length of the short sides. | ||
|
AppleCores are measured along the center lengthwise. | ||
| Try our MYLAR* PIECES™ A NEW WAY TO MAKE OLD TREASURES |

Try Mylar* Pieces to take the fiddling out of those hexagons. With our Mylar Pieces you make a running stitch 1/8" from the edge of your fabric. Then draw it up around the Mylar foundation template similiar to the way you make a YO-YO. Next, sew them together using a buttonhole stitch from the backside. Once you have connected other pieces all the way around your Mylar shape; you pop them out using a disposable chop stick or knitting needle and re-use them. You never sew through the Mylar; so there are no stitches to remove or any stitches that show on the top of your quilt. The Mylar Pieces will last a very long time. |
